On May 13, 2010, The Bourke Group participated in Red Day with Keller Williams. 

Pam Welborn spent her morning at The Steadfast House, a place that transforms lives by providing a safe place with food and care.  Pam, along with other Keller Williams’ volunteers, worked in the yard (mowing, trim work, plant flowers), did general cleaning inside the building, painted, and served lunch. 

Pam joined Carol Bourke and Wesley Bourke who were volunteering at the Murray Hill Park, one of Asheville’s newest parks in South Asheville.  There KW volunteers worked on the landscaping - planting trees and flowers and adding mulch to the flower beds. 

Carol and Wesley then headed over to the Animal Compassion Network where they spent time walking the dogs who are awaiting new owners.  Animal Compassion Network (ACN) is Western North Carolina’s largest non-profit, safe-for-life animal welfare organization.
