The Wall Street Journal put up a good article about the future of home prices.  The Asheville market is not the same as the national market and I generally refrain from linking up every “nationwide housing crisis” news item.  But this one is a good read:

“Many Americans still see real estate as their best shot at wealth. In survey after survey, people expect prices to bounce back — in some cases, as soon as six months from now.

Those hoping for a quick rebound are likely to be disappointed.”
