Video: Asheville Economic Outlook meeting from July 2008

by Sparkdog ~ September 6th, 2008. Filed under: Asheville real estate news.

Better late than never.  I found a video of the presentation about the Asheville economic outlook that was reported widely in local media last month. If you missed the meeting (like me) but wished you hadn’t, well, here’s your chance. It was recorded by Jeff Link, an Asheville realtor, and the video is online.

“The ninth annual Asheville Metro Economy Outlook, a presentation of the latest significant economic trends by the Chamber’s Asheville Metro Business Research Center. Parsec Financial Management’s Chief Economist, Dr. James F. Smith, and Tom Tveidt, director of the Asheville Metro Business Research Center, will provide insights and observations on the national and local economy. This event is a must for informed business leaders wishing to stay ahead of the competition”

The whole clip is worth watching; there is a real estate discussion at the 24 minute mark and again, from the 2nd presenter, at the 50 min mark.

I linked the reporting about this event awhile back - see the related posts section.
